IHappy Monday! I just completed week 2, day 1 of my training, and what a fabulous run it was. Once again this year, I'll be following the legendary Jeff Galloway (sorry no link but Google him if you're unfamiliar) training plans.

The Gallway method is a form of interval training, where one repeats run-walk-run for said time or distance. It's used my millions across the globe, and the reason I've gone from a non-runner to completing 4 half-marathons.

My workout today consisted of a 30 minute run. My intervals ranged from walking 3.0-3.6 and running 4.5-4.8 mph and included a 5 minute warm-up. Race training aside, my goal is to eventually close the gap between my pavement pace and treadmill. Right now I'm averaging 15 min/mile on the treadmill and 13:30 min/ mile outside.
