Non-scale Victory

Someone just pointed out how huge my pants look, so I thought I would share my little non-scale victory. Yes I'm offically down 3 pants sizes since I gave birth to my youngest in December 2011. I still have a long way to go to get back into my pre-baby size 6 (currently a 10), but hey progress is progress! Non-scale victories are a great way to keep one motivated and inspired on thier wellness journies. Since we all have different stories and goals, it's a great way for me to plan programs for clients (and myself). For someone looking to shed weight non-scale victories may include working out consistently for 21 days straight, getting into your favorite dress/pants, setting a personal record in a race. The list goes on! Any victory should also be celebrated. Ideally without food, but trust I get it every now and again you should indulge.
